Stuffed Cheese Beef Burger

Cheese.

Even the word is enough. You don't even feel like wanting to hear anything else.

Cheese, its every man and woman's desire.

Cheese, its what English people say before taking a picture.

Cheese, a lot of my dark fantasies revolve around it but I should shut the hell up now.

I wanted to have a good nice big juicy beef burger but I wanted to make one myself. I have made one for this blog before but I wanted to try something new. So, while looking at different burger recipe videos I came along (repeat after me) "STUFFED CHEESE BEEF BURGER" recipe video.

I was mesmerized after watching the tutorial and wanted to try it out as soon as I can. So I went through more recipes and videos and came to form a perfect ingredient list for the perfect patty and went grocery shopping.

What I did after that grocery shopping will be visible to you all below as I, Chef Shamsher (by the way I am not a chef I just cook on weekends and sometimes on weekdays at home) tell you how to make (repeat after me) "STUFFED CHEESE BEEF BURGER."

Ingredients:

Note - This is going to make 2 burgers

500 grams grounded beef

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 egg

2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

2 burger buns

5 slices of cheese of your choice

First you need to add salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, egg and Worcestershire sauce to minced beef and mix it well.

Then make nice 4 flat patties out of it of equal size. Place it in the freezer for 20-30 minutes.

Chef Tip - If the mince meat is sticking on your hand then please keep a small bowl of water and dip your fingers in it before making a patty.

Now take the patties out of the freezer and put 2.5 slices of cheese on two of them as shown below in the picture.

Cover the cheese topped patties with the other two patties and make sure you pinch them on the edges to close them completely because if you do not close them from the edges the cheese will come out when you grill the patties.

Now preheat the grill on medium heat. Brush it with oil.

Put the patties on the grill. Cook them on each side from 4-6 minutes.

The patties are all done now.

Set up your burger nicely on a nice plate. I put a layer of mayo on one slice, topped it with tomato and cucumber slices. Put mustard on the top bun with a side of oven baked potato chips.

Ladies and gentlemen, you have to stand up and join your hands for STUFFED CHEESE BEEF BURGER.

Spicy Grilled Beef Thick Burger

Since my little brother who is not so little asked me to make him a burger today I thought why not make an addition in the recipe list.

So I planned to make a special spicy beef grilled burger with special ingredients.

You need:

Buns ... Obviously

500 grams of minced beef

Salt and pepper to taste

A medium onion

Half an egg

Half teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning

Half teaspoon paprika powder

Embedded image permalink

Chop the onion and the mince beef in an electronic chopper.

Embedded image permalink

When the meat is finely chopped with the onion mix rest of the ingredients in a bowl.

Embedded image permalink

If you want to spice things up you can add red chilli flakes like me. The pattie mixture is done now.

I made 4 patties but my meat was 950 grams you can make 2 nice thick patties out of 500 grams. Refrigerate them for 30 minutes.

Now its time to grill the pattie. 8-10 minutes each side on a pre-heated grill pan(medium low heat) with olive oil brushed on it.

After your patties are grilled its time to set up your burger.

I used salad leaves, tomatoes, mustard, pepper sauce/spicy sauce(Nando's), cheese and jalapeƱos.

Your Thick Spicy Grilled Beef Burgers are ready. This looks better than my ex girlfriend's face.

This burger is nicely grilled as you can see here the thickness.

Here is a picture of my mom enjoying the burger. You guys also try and enjoy it.

Beef Chapli Kebab and A Suprise

I think I took my friend's not eating beef comment seriously and MADE BEEF CHAPLI KEBAB TODAY. Take out your notebooks kids.

You need:

1kg minced beef

3 tomatoes

5 tbsp chopped coriander

2 onions chopped

5-6 green chillies

3 tbsp mint leaves

1/2 cup flour

Salt as per taste

Garam masala 1 tbsp

Red chilli 1.5 tbsp

Anardana 1.5 tbsp

Coriander powder 1 tbsp

Cumin 1 tbsp

1 egg

Embedded image permalink

Finely chop everything in an electronic chopper because if you don't the kebabs will break. I REPEAT THEY WILL BREAK

Embedded image permalink

Add the half cup of flour and one egg in your kebab mixure and mix it again PROPERLY.

Embedded image permalink

Make balls out of minced beef and press them into a pattie just like this one.
Start frying on high flame. FLAME ON

Fry for 3-5 minutes on each side and your(actually mine) beef chapli kebabs are ready.

But I did not stop here. Just like hunger for power drives a political party crazy, the hunger for food made me crazy.

Added a bit of vinegar, olive oil and oyster sauce in the left over ground kebab beef to make the desi tatse go away.

Made thick burger patties, preheated the grill and started some grilling to make a thick beef burgers.

After grilling burger patties 8 minutes each side on medium low flame I got this beautiful grilled thick beef burger.

I hope everyone enjoyed today's session and learned a lot but YOU CANNOT STILL COOK AS GOOD AS ME HUN.

Grilled Lamb Burger

Attention people. Take out your pens, notebooks and minced lamb because we about to make grilled lamb burger.

You need

400 grams of minced lamb

Half an onion

2 tbsp leaves of coriander

Embedded image permalink

1 tsp garlic paste
Salt & pepper as you like
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp all spices (garam masala)

Embedded image permalink

Put every ingredient in a chopper, push the button and watch the effortless mixing in process.

Make two nice round patties and preheat the grill pan on medium low heat.

Remember when you make a beef/mutton/lamb pattie, press it in the middle because it poofs out. I know no one understands this.

Grill the patties on low heat for five minutes each side.

Prepare your burger as you like. This is how I prepared mine with sweet potato salad. Enjoy everyone.

Remember to grill the pattie 5-7 minutes each side. Look at the close up properly grilled and MOUTH WATERING.

Coat the chicken well and refrigerate for 15-30 minutes.

Meanwhile prepare a simple coleslaw. Shred cabbage, add salt+pepper some cream and mix.

Grill the marinated chicken now on medium low heat on a grill pan. 4-5 minutes each side.

While the chicken is being grilled put a lil butter/olive oil on each side.

Prepare your buns now. I this sounds f'in hilarious but oh well. Start from mustard on the base and then the veggies.

Embedded image permalink

From cucumber, to jalapeno and pickles you can put different veggies I juts kept it simple in a hurry.

I topped the grilled chicken with different Nando's sauces and cheese.

Slice it from the middle, put some coleslaw on your plate and you're good to go.
